GHOST STORIES

Annelies has a 'friend' on the bus who thinks it is a great idea to tell her ghost stories. The first day she did this, Annelies came home almost in tears and i was able to easily settle her nerves by telling her that ghost are not real and it's just a story..... It worked for a short time and then the next day came around and sure enough the little girl tells her yet another ghost story and now she has another friend helping her out. I immediately called up the girls mother and explained to her what was going on hoping this would help. IT DIDN'T WORK! Annelies is now terrified to sleep in her own bed or be upstairs by herself. Apparently the little girl told Annelies that ghosts come through the bedroom window. Can you guess where Annelies' bed is? Yup, right next to the window!

This morning i spoke to the bus driver about separating the girls, so we will see if that works, but for now i've got one scared little girl!

have annalies tell the girl that a ghost did come into her room and took all her toys and shes going to all of annalies friends houses to do the same...then see if that girl has any more ghost stories!!!
tell annalies that yes good ghosts do come in through the windows but they only check up on you to see if your alright and not scared. maybe that last part still might scare her but its worth a shot!

good advice! she is so sweet, she probably wouldn't do the first part.... i think even the thought of ghosts (good or bad) terrifies her!

Poor thing. Do you remember when our cousins used to tell us terrible ghost stories upstairs in Nana's old house? I remember all of us being up there terrified. Do you remember the about the scraping on top of the car? Kids can be so mean. They think it's funny to scare others. I really feel bad for her. You're doing all the right things though. Good for you.

Oh my gosh, that makes me so mad! Give her pepper spray. Maybe that will help! :)
